Tour Choir Sings Yuletide Favorites

To musically usher in the holiday season, The Tour Choir of Concordia College in Bronxville, conducted by Dr. Jason Thoms, Director of Choral Activities, presented a program of yuletide favorite songs including “Christ the Lord” and “Silent Night” at Lord and Taylor in Scarsdale on November 15. Twenty four members of the Tour Choir joined the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and almost 2,000 choristers at the department stores other 46 locations in 9 states .
The Young People’s Chorus , who performed in the stores flagship New York City location along with Kristin Chenoweth, extended the invitation to all choruses to participate on the same day, in the spirit of the season, to show how the power of song can bring all kinds of people together through music .
A new holiday song, called “ Share the Joy”, written by Young People’s Chorus Artistic Director Francisco J. Nunez and Composer Jim Papoulis, featuring the voices of all the participating choruses will be available at Lord and Taylor, iTunes and CDBaby.com
